Our journey began in 2012 with a vision to reshape the NZ cold-rolled steel building sector, which had long been dominated by Australian franchises using lightweight, often inferior systems. After 18 months of innovation and system development, X Span officially launched in October 2014—independent, family-owned, and proudly Kiwi.
From day one, we’ve remained committed to offering high-quality products at competitive prices, backed by a willingness to do things differently. That’s why we sell direct from our factory to your site, cutting out unnecessary middlemen and ensuring you get the best value possible.

This is made possible through our state-of-the-art Shed Creator online design tool, which empowers you to customise your building with unmatched precision and engineering freedom.
